Nduta Kariuki was born and raised in Ngong, Kenya. Her love for visual, written and performing arts is evident from the various undertakings she has committed to.

Nduta paints primarily but also has extensive knowledge of most art forms. Other than her recognizable portrait paintings, Nduta enjoys writing and reggae music.

When working on visual art forms, she usually uses acrylics, but also charcoal. Nduta admits her affinity for portraits, a subject she has been perfecting for over a decade.

Her style varies. From simple charcoal faces to busts that are full of colour and creative patters, flowers being a particularly common feature.

The works have been shown at The Michael Joseph Centre, Kenya Railways Museum Gallery, The National Museum, Paa ya Paa Gallery, International School of Kenya, and others.

Nduta graduated with a B. A. in Fine Art from Kenyatta University in 2014. She majored in Painting and minored in Sculpture and Graphic Design.
